Jazz Fest Ticket Shop Opens for Business

In less than a month, the curtain rises on the 12th Xerox Rochester International Jazz Festival.

On Tuesday, the official ticket shop for the event opened its doors. And the fact that no one was waiting in line to get in doesn't concern festival producer and artistic director John Nugent.

He says most of the tickets have already been sold. Nugent says there are quite a few tickets left for the headliner shows, with the exception of Willie Nelson, which has completely sold out.

He says less than 200 club passes remain for the event. The ticket shop is open Monday through Friday from 10am to 6pm, and Saturday's from noon til 5.

It'll be open daily from10amto11pmduring the festival's nine day run, from June21stto June29th.

There's more informationhere at the jazz festival's website.
