Clothesline Art Festival
|
Save the date! On Saturday, September 6, WRUR will be broadcasting live from the M&T Bank Clothesline Art Festival at Rochester's Memorial Art Gallery. We'll be on the air from 10am-noon, so stop by to meet DJs, grab a frisbee, and hear some great music.
On September 6 and 7, 2008, experience live entertainment from gospel to hula throughout the 17-acre campus of the Memorial Art Gallery while shopping for fine art and craft at the M&T Bank Clothesline Festival. On the weekend after Labor Day, expect to see dancers and musicians, art class demonstrations, fun food and artwork from New York State artists. Be sure to check out the Memorial Art Gallery store and museum, open to Clothesline attendees. See http://clothesline.rochester.edu/ for more details.
The festival is open Saturday from 10am-6pm and Sunday from 10am-5pm.
$5 admission.

Boulder Festival

Thanks to everyone who came out to Boulder Festival 2008 last month. We all enjoyed meeting some of our listeners and hearing the great bands. Keep your radio tuned to WRUR all summer to hear a different spin on your music!

Boulder Festival 2008

WRUR and Boulder Coffee Company present Boulderfest 2008, July 25th through 27th, in Rochester's South Wedge.
Enjoy music from headliners Dr. Dog, Vetiver, and Akron Family as well as local musicians and artists.

UPDATE: This Friday on "The C-Spot" (noon-2pm), C. Mike will be preparing us for BoulderFest with a in-depth look at some of the musicians participating in the 3-day festival.

Web Stream Changes

On Wednesday November 21st, we will be making adjustments to our
web-streaming services. The broadcast streams will be unavailable
for a short period of time on Wednesday afternoon. Once all the
changes are made, come back to wrur.org and click the live stream at the top of the page.
